John Maddocks

Big 8 Jazzmen

John  Maddocks and his band have always been popular visitors to The Bay and on his last visit he  provided a real treat by bringing an eight piece to  perform, and what a success it was too! So he is bringing them back for this visit. The increased number playing really provides  a rich depth of sound  aided by the low ceiling in the club which will provide great acoustics.

The line up will be John on clarinet and tenor sax, Tom Connor on trumpet, Simon Wyld on trombone, Mark Aston on alto, baritone and tenor saxes as well as the clarinet, Colin Martin on piano, Andy Dickens on guitar, Peter McCurrie on bass and tuba and finally Sy Gorelick on drums.
