Tuesday, 15th September Tony Scrivens Sunshine Bnad

We are pleased to welcome back to The Bay, the Tony Scriven Sunshine Jazz Band who created a great impression during their debut visit.


They played a lovely selection of 'New Orleans style' numbers, the vast majority of which were distinctly lively(!). Alongside Tony were Pete Leonard (cornet),Rod Pearce (trombone),Trevor Whiting (reeds),Paul Busby (sousaphone) and Bill Stagg (banjo).


The whole session was a delight. And 'Whistling Rufus',played on sousaphone, accompanied by banjo and washboard is not something you hear every day(!).  


The same six accomplished musicians will be here again. We are looking forward to another great session.
