TJ Johnson’s Dixieland 5

TJ Johnson is widely considered to be one of the UK’s most charismatic and highly revered jazz musicians. At 16 he was asked to join the legendary Max Collie Rhythm Aces and this started his professional career, touring Europe and UK for three years. As well as jazz clubs and festivals, they performed all major theatres as part of The New Orleans Mardi Gras Show featuring Cy Lauri and Ken Colyer. Since then, among many achievements, TJ and his band have ‘sold out’ Ronnie Scotts over ten times. His distinctive voice and unique personal stage manner always bring both the band and the audience together to create an intimate yet exciting atmosphere that is rarely equalled. For this visit he will be joined by Ewan Bleech -clarinet, Enrico Tomasso -trumpet, Simon Reed -bass , Wesley Gibbons- drums.



 It should be a great afternoon’s jazz.
