Frisco Bay Jazz Band

This is the world premiere of the Frisco Bay Jazz Band capturing the San Francisco sound immortalised by Lu Watters with two trumpets, a big sound, a driving attack, good ensemble playing and strong influences of Red Nicholls and Louis Armstrong.

They have a stella line-up including:

• Enrico Tomasso and Lewis Taylor on trumpets,
• Graham Hughes on trombone,
• Michael McQuaid on reeds,
• Colin Good on piano,
• Spats Langham on banjo,
• Mark Elton on sousaphone
• Richard Pite on drums

It promises to be a great afternoon’s jazz
